I legit was in my car talking to my neighbor, who I've barely spoken to as he's Chinese and speaks mainly Mandarin and I'm now going to teach him English and he's going to teach me Mandarin so I can be on Redbook. This app is bringing the world together!

Honestly it's a solid TikTok replacement. I didn't even finish the evening on TT I was building my algorithm on Rednote until the wee hours

The irony of this entire situation is palpable.

Nothing is funnier to me than them banning Tiktok because of the "risk and concern of Chinese influence" only to push us all into one of the most Chinese apps I've ever been on 😂
So concerned for our data? I clicked buttons in Chinese until the app let me in. I don't even know what I agreed to.
