Out of step, introverted, opinionated curmudgeon. Also, dogs are better than people.... at least they're honest.
I've reached the age now where pretty much anything I buy from Costco is a lifetime supply.

It's time for the New Year's Resolutionaries to head back to the gym... for a month or so. It's funny how their numbers dwindle so quickly.

Me: I'm offended every time I look out the window and see my neighbor's Tesla in their driveway.

Also me: Give up Prime? *Gasp* No F'ing Way!!

It's customary where I grew up to eat Black Eyed Peas on New Year's Day in order to assure good luck for the coming year but I don't think there are enough Black Eyed Peas in the world to fix this shit.

Whenever I see something stupid that people are doing like drinking raw milk or talking about eliminating vaccines, I can't help but think we should go ahead and do away with all warning labels, too, and just let nature take its course. All Hail Darwin.

When I realized most Christians are people I don't want to be associated with, religion is an artificial construct and the Bible is primarily an instrument of control and repression. That was over 40 years ago and nothing has changed my mind since.

Tuesday is normally a fairly safe day to shop at Costco. But wow, Christmas shopping is already in full swing there. Too many kamikaze shoppers and the return line was out the door. I bought enough stuff I won't need to go back until after Christmas. Feeling a bit battered and bruised. Wow.

Gave up sugar over a year ago but let myself have a piece of pie on Thanksgiving(!) and then dreamed that Tom Hanks became a zombie and we let him live for a while because he's, well, Tom Hanks. No more sugar for me. Again.

Hello, Blue Sky! I thought I'd share a pic of Mount Blue Sky here in Colorado. You can drive all the way to the top of the 14,000+ ft peak on the highest paved road in the U.S. The views are spectacular from this wildlife refuge. I love this place.
