Today’s price hike from Microsoft was due in large part to shifts in DRAM/NAND market prices, and MSFT not having ability to mitigate those expenses as well as Apple or Sony.

The problem people have is they make impulsive judgements on complex subjects they know nothing about.
If the unions did this, it would dramatically backfire in a number of ways - ultimately killing the unions.
