No they wouldn't scrap it because of "hackzors" they would scrap it becuase it got to the testing phase and playtesters didn't like the game. It's what happened with HL1 and has been valves game dev cycle MO ever since.
They make 30% off every steam sale. They will be okay.

I feel like most of the people who don't believe HLX exists don't know how data mining / reverse engineering works. It's definitely a thing, it's just a matter of when and (unfortunately) if they decide to release it.

Not enough people are listening to the perspective of John Darnielle of The Mountain Goats when it comes to pharmacological research. I've been saying this for years.

Be open to being wrong. Simultaneously, be open to realizing the the most authoritative, most trustworthy voices on a given subject are limited by the scope of their experience.
Don't let the slop machine destroy your ability to think for yourself.

The deeper you dig into any subject, even the "hard" sciences, the more you will find that there is no right or wrong answer. All I can do as one person with one human mind is what I see brings the most benefit to me and those around me.

Strange thing to say. I don't like the right having guns and they're a big part of why I'm armed, but I think that's a step in the wrong direction. Maybe let's start with better enforcing the consequences for hate crimes, including removing second ammendment rights, and go from there.

People are allergic to nuance when it comes to AI becuase they don't know how it works and they are constantly berated by companies trying to exploit their attention. It concerns me because it's literally a form of reactionary thinking even if it's nominally aligned with my beliefs.
