Sorry, Luis, can't figure out which post of mine you're referring to... But generally, I will respond, it's probably both/and. And like chimpanzees, all humans are tribalist. They draw arbitrary boundaries and hate anyone who is not one of them. Nasty creatures all.

Duh. It's not who you know, it's who you blow. Society has ALWAYS worked this way. Particularly for women, i.e. if you want to get ahead work on sexual skills or get out of the game. I literally hitch-hiked out of LA in the '70s. Had learned my lesson. "Tire tracks all across your back."--Hendrix
