Could be. I adopted one. He was great and lived to 19yo. At 16yo he jumped a six foot fence to go after a bob cat. He came back in all relaxed with a scratch below his eye. We never saw the bib cat again. He is missed. Great breed

I’m in between table rock and beaver lake in AR also huge. I just saw we have an otter in the area and I witnessed my first beaver this summer.
Then there’s the canoe able rivers and mountain bike trails. Great camping.
