Following up on this the balloons did ascend yesterday thanks to better weather. This is the first time I’ve seen any hot air balloons take off. It was pretty cool!

Even though tethered, we finally got to see some air balloons fly (and later glow) at the Quechee Hot Air Balloon Festival this year! Fingers crossed for seeing some flights on Sunday.
