like there’s a lotttt of misogynistic media and fandoms out there. i unfortunately game a lot and i have dealt with some crazy things so that’s why this take confused me and i felt passionate about it cause i have faced harsh misogyny within the own things i like ALLL the time 😭

their followers and themselves as well are not understanding my point at all 😭 it’s kinda crazy how feminists are reaching to make another feminist (born as a woman btw) look misogynistic because i didn’t fully agree with them. i think their point is valid it was just the wrong use of media

-on their timeline but i haven’t seen anyone not equally obsess over the women so it’s confusing. i feel like it’s an issue of their timeline not matching their interests and not a misogyny issue

i’m confused here too cause if the fandom was putting the women down to uplift the men then that would be a real misogynistic issue. all this user is saying is it’s misogynistic that the fandom is obsessing over the guys. the men were written to be obsessed by fans 😭 also idk what they’ve seen-

because i haven’t seen a piece of media of women putting the women in the movie down to uplift the men. that is misogyny. people obsessing over men who were written to be vague to obsess over is not. i think you need to redefine what REAL misogyny is

to show up for these real issues happening. i have personally been to local protests and even called my senates when real misogyny started to spread across my own country. i am a confused feminist on your take i am not against you i am just lost at the choice of media 😭

because i wanted to have a proper discussion cause i am also passionate about this topic!! also how is it weird to ask to support real women over fictional women? i shared my opinion as you shared yours. i wanted to have a respectful debate as well as wanting to express the importance more than ever

anyways feel free to block me that’s my last piece about this because again ur point is actually valid it’s was just insanely the wrong media to use!!! like i get what you mean but in this context it quite literally doesn’t make sense and shows lack of media literacy on ur end

also if you want to have these discussions and make change it’s important to be open minded and talk things out with people ur words lose substance and your stance means nothing!!! also literally what the movie is about i suggest you watch it. its very well written!!

there is so much other media that highlights this example and i fear the whole point of the movie was women empowerment idk what u interact with but i’ve seen more people on my socials hype the women up…i think this is a fix ur timeline issue unfortunately not misogyny

it means the men and women in the film were well written!! those can co exist and real misogyny is very much different. you had the right idea just the wrong example of media to use

i don’t think real life women being effected by this issue and dying actively due to this issue are upset that men in a film written for the sole purpose to be obsessed over are being obsessed over.

you should put your passion into the real life women dying from misogyny actively happening now and that your kdh take wasn’t groundbreaking or life changing.
