The GOP knows they can only win by dividing the Democratic Party, moderates and progressives, against each other. But, we have common goals and we need to stand together.

When my husband was in the Army, I worked for the Liberty County department of Health outside Fort Stewart Ga. One day I helped give out what was then food stamps. I was sad to see so many soldiers relying on food stamps. Our soldiers and their families deserve better.

I’m glad to see my county is in dark blue. It’s a pleasant surprise considering most of the people I know are MAGA.

$1000 doesn’t even cover the cost of annual inflation since the tariffs came into effect. My grocery bill has gone up by more than $1000 since Trump took office.

Whenever Norovirus spreads in a cruise ship it makes national news. I work at a large suburban high school with a population of about the same as a cruise ship. We have illnesses spread all the time. Of course it doesn’t make the news.

Also it’s not a coincidence that Fox News is helping with the distraction and ignoring the real problems in the country.

Trump is a master of distraction. Every day there are multiple instances of him saying crazy nonsense to distract from the issues we should focus on : inflation, free speech, corruption, etc. He did this the first administration but is getting better each passing day.
