Here are some previews of the MVP I built for a French author in the self-care space. She has a growing community, and I turned her idea into a real app, for free! The app shares daily positive thoughts and guides users to journal using AI-generated prompts inspired by her methods.

Went out today, and wow, my productivity was crazy!

Got 5 out of 7 tasks done ✅, and the day’s not even over yet. Definitely better than my usual pace at home.

Might start doing this more often. 😌

Do you get more done when you’re out or when you’re at home?

This is one of the first books I read.

Earlier this week, as a use case for my agency, I built a simple tool based on its concepts to help you break down and track the skills you want to learn. It’s a great example of turning a simple concept into a useful tool.

Once your skill is deconstructed, you can log your practice time and other details for each subskill in the app.

This makes it easy to see your progress and stay consistent, just like Josh Kaufman shows in the book: consistency beats perfection every time.

Skill Deconstruction
One of the core ideas from the book is to break a skill into smaller subskills.

Choose a skill you want to learn (e.g., coding, playing guitar, or public speaking).
AI deconstructs that skill into 4 subskills, each split into manageable chunks over 20 hours.

The Dashboard:

Once you log in, you’re taken to a clean dashboard, thanks to @v0.dev. From here, you can start your journey and track your progress.

The app keeps things frictionless. Users sign up using social authentication (Google login), making it quick to get started without worrying about extra passwords.
