Went to a lovely meeting of the Notts Heritage Forum at St Barnabas Catholic cathedral yesterday. Caught up with some colleagues and had a tour with the conservators who are doing 'wall archaeology' revealing the layers of previous interior design, looking for Pugin's original decorative scheme.

Bats for H-8! 🦇 One of my favourite things about these socks is that I bought them in a cathedral. Sacred spooky bats! 😆

H-9 : black cats! Not all that spooky but I love these old 100¥ socks and take any excuse to wear them again. I'll be very sad when they finally actually wear through! 🐈⬛

My last shift at the Trent Bridge cricket library today. I'm quite melancholy, coz I've enjoyed this little job so much! The room is welcoming, the collection is great, and everyone involved in it is lovely. Sad to go, but glad I'll be able to keep my hand in as part of the Heritage Advisory Group.

Gave a 20 minute introduction to still life art in our collections at Mansfield Museum yesterday. Hope nobody was disappointed by how basic my art knowledge is! The overall event seemed to go down well anyway ☺️
