What did Doc build this week?

A Mould King harvester!

The RC system is a bit wonky since it's set to tank drive and steering is on a motor instead of a steering servo, but other than that it is pretty good for a sub-$100 set.

What did Doc Just Build?

Well, to break up the early holiday builds, a certain bunny I know suggested some leafy greens.

So, Lego Botanicals Happy Plants were built! A small set to be certain, but it can be shared with a friend and has some surprising little details.

Were organized. Need to reorganize, as I have added a lot since those photos. And a third Kallax.

Sadly, that particular baby has since left us, but I still have two.

I mean, technically, there's a book in each of the boxes ...

What did Doc build recently?

Yes, it's more sporadic than usual. September kinda sucked.

This little WW2 tank - I think it's a Sherman of some flavor - by an unknown off brand was a truly epic disappointment from the word 'go'.

Bad instructions, bad parts quality ... just overall bad.

Well, it's not wrong.

It's the wonderful time of the year where pumpkin spice everything and spooky stuff are normal. That's right, we're unofficially in the season of Autism, so Doc's builds are going to be seasonal!

Was too tired after work, but now that I'm awake, I figured I'd go ahead and Mountain my Zu for you.

Ok. So, no Doc Built tonight, because it was busy, and I wasn't feeling well, and then I felt better ... and then we did the monthly backup power test and now I am back to having a splitting headache from the diesel fumes ...

... so have the spider I bought in for the season.

Heeee. But I am at work.

Also, a bag of dopamine I had to run yesterday. That's not my hand writing ...

Dunno why I never thought to do this before, but this is the sunroof of my car during a quick wash.

So, What's Doc Working On today?

Still the church. It was a dead night, so I was able to get bag 6 done, which finished off the church itself.

If you're thinking it's the end, nope. Bag 7 finishes off the landscaping and adds a big, detailed tree.

Using one photo already on your phone / computer, what is the announcement tomorrow at 2?

So, usually I don't note upcoming sets here, but this one might amuse.

10-1-25, Lego. Star Wars. Crimmas. Gingerbread AT-AT with a Gingerbread Darth Vader minifig.

It's a wonderfully unhinged concept, and might just be on my list to get.

What's Doc Working On?

Still on the Church. Tonight was the last of Bag 4 and all of 5, finishing the middle of the church.

It went together fast, but the spire roof was kinda intricate.

2 bags left ; 6 is the front of the church, and 7 is the big tree.

What's Doc Working On?

The Church continues! Here we are at the start of my efforts (a bit of Bag 3 done, and the landscaping I mentioned in bag 2 but didn't get a pic of), and at the end of Bag 2, which finished up the first part of the church and added a little more landscaping.

What's Doc Working On?

I know that some of my followers are in Discords where I share in-progress images of my builds.

While I am suffering from a break from Discord, I will instead share here. (If you like this level of detail as I go, say so.)

Bags 1 and 2 of a Church! Alt text for my thoughts.

What did Doc build on break recently?

Honse. Mecha honse.

Pros : lights up, is honse, has horn.

Cons : fragile, ridiculously detailed, some parts fitting issues, some really bad decisions in build order.

What did Doc build today?

A 3-in-1 transforming set that is a space jet, a robo dinosaur, and a humanoid mecha!

It's also so heavy and connected in such weak ways that it spontaneously unbuilt itself after these photos.

I am not rebuilding it.

What did Doc build?

I finished up the CADA brand Ruf GT build earlier today after having to wait a few weeks for an extra parts kit. Will be testing the R/C functions next week at work.

What has Doc built recently at work?

A Free Tribe brand Plum Blossom Bonsai Tree.

This is one of those cases where my mentioning the brand is a warning.

Low quality parts with problems fitting together due to incorrect sizing and break when you attempt assembly.

Avoid.

Twitch opted to crash, but it was enjoyable while I was able to watch.

Will attach a photo of the "RC" Car I mentioned I was working on. This is at 2/3 done. Small Lego Cat for scale.
