Clayton explained that the district's work with demographer consultants would include options to move fifth graders to elementaries, but that options to leave fifth grade at the intermediate level were still on the table.

Assistant Superintendent Tierney Anderson presented a Teaching & Learning K-8 update. Skills such as critical thinking and adaptable learning were discussed in detail with examples of how skills were being further reinforced.

Director Laura Butgereit presented a report of college and career readiness. The report included information on efforts as early as Pre K learning.
