Vaccines save 2-3 million lives every year.
They are incredibly safe.

The risk of a serious adverse event after vaccination is ~1 in 1,000,000.

Context:
The risk of dying in a car crash: 1 in 100.
The risk of peanut allergy: 1 in 200,000.
The risk of dying from choking on food is 1 in 2500.

The risk of dying from flu is 1 in 10,000.

Yes, everything has a risk. But vaccines are one of the SAFEST things out there. And even serious adverse events after vaccination are almost always treatable.

AND they save lives & improve healthough.
