There were some great table at BOYL this year, I spent two whole days playing in the big fantasy game.

I managed to get a game with my freshly painted orcs.

And one of my opponents brought along this fantastically painted elven tower that we used as the centre piece for the board.

A model elven tower painted cram and green with an elven lord on pegasus, who cunningly remembered what the objective was unlike the rest of the armies who were too busy beating the living snuff out of everything they could see and so he managed to win the game for the elves, standing in front of it. A model of an elven wizard hiding behind an unpainted (I am currently in the process of remedying this issue) model of a snotling pump wagon. That gutless pointy eared little git spent most of the game hiding from my trolls behind the disabled pump wagon living up to the elven reputation for deep cowardice, even if that means standing in a pile of snotling guts. My (again) unpainted (sorry about that, I'm painting as fast as I can, which is admittedly not very fast, but I'm trying) giant watched on with disappointment on his face as the chaos sorcerer managed to suck the souls out of a bunch of elves he was planning on jumping up and down on. Luckily there were a few left over for him to get some trampolining in. A unit of orcs face off against a chaos chariot and mounted sorcerer. I was a bit worried that this might be a quick end to my hopes in this game, but luckily my decision to tool these gits up to the gills with everything I could slap on them paid off and they managed to see off these formidable foes admirably dispatching them in two rounds of combat without too many casualties.
