We used to have this along our fence line. It was so beautiful but it kept growing and growing and kept overtaking the driveway. It was a sad thing each time we had to cut it back and watch the little flowers fall.

I would be fine with almost anything except the current system. Let the govt be the only payer. Because right now I take 50 different plans so I have 50 masters. Yesterday I learned I was stiffed by Humana because I did a patient a favor and performed a procedure same day. Who knew that was wrong?

Out of pocket care is what our grandparents used. They didn’t spend $1400 a month on premiums to then be nickle and dimed for annual exams and labs. Imagine if you kept $1400/month for a family of 4 for a year, minus $1000 in annual family med visits. Up to age 50 the math works for most families.

Why are you worried about the predatory practices of doctors when we’ve been cleaned to the bone by the apex predators in our ecosystem: insurance companies and their PBMs, etc? Eliminating insurance for everyday care is the only way it works. Single payer or self pay.

If we could pay doctors directly, things would be much cheaper. Then we could bring back true catastrophic health plans, which used to have deductibles of $8000, which is now considered a very average policy. We need to get rid of health insurance. I am a doctor, insurance is killing medicine.

Chris Murphy, insurance is killing doctors like me. I would love to offer transparent prices across the board to patients but instead I’m trapped with insurance contracts that make hiding costs a game. Get rid of insurance, give the $$$$ spent on premiums to Americans to invest in HSAs. No middlemen

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. We DO need to get rid of health insurance. There is no reason your pediatrician or family doc needs to fight with an insurance company to be paid for routine exams that can be reasonably, fairly priced across the board. Health insurance should be axed.
