Then Trump happened and that’s all out the window. People are lemmings. Throwing away constitutional protections and first amendment liberties and everyone is just shrugging.

The speed with which businesses, institutions, and individuals are folding to this administration has me gobsmacked. For decades now I’ve been convinced that Americans had become hopelessly individualistic and prone to push back at authority for any reason or no reason at all.
