I’m surprising someone by making a ribbon skirt. Practicing to help my team with Ribbon skirt workshops in the fall as well.

I’ve had these new gym shoes for two years. I was so sad about throwing my first gym shoes bc they literally aided in getting me from just under 300lbs to 155 back in 2019.
In with the new… no more sore feet after gym! Thanks for taking me this far 👟

April 12th - 6yrs in this house.
A degree, my first mortgage, a fresh start that began by ripping the bandaid to choose myself and my kids as top priority.

Took a week off to experience my first spring break. Faculty positions never allowed me to take it off before.
Spending my week as a pedal bike pit crew for the neighbourhood kids because according to my youngest, “our mom knows how to fix stuff” 🚲

Last summer I melted my car lipgloss by accident leaving it exposed in a cup holder in my van.
I replaced it with my purse lipgloss and haven’t had bedroom lipgloss until today when I finally got tired of going to my work tote for lipgloss at bedtime.

Time for some peace. Working one job now has allowed me to recuperate and find time to knit. I lost my passion and energy for knitting finishing my teaching career while moving into leadership.

I’m 41 and previously married for 14 years. Divorced and now engaged for three weeks.
This is my first stocking in 18yrs. I never said anything bc the holidays are for family. Today though, I’m grateful I get to marry a human who noticed I made my own stocking so no one would feel bad forgetting 🙏
