Going through a very similar situation myself right now. And I don't know which is worse - the fact no one cares or the fact people still expect you to care about their stuff and accuse you of not helping when you genuinely can't.

I'm sure you're right. I'm sorry.
I was just remembering the time when somehow a few city officials were able to help us get ahold of the Senators office when their office was closed for the holidays. But that's also completely different from this current shutdown.

I've only seen this a few times, but each time Senator's office was involved. They usually respond within a day of us sending everything. But with the current shutdown, I'm sure it'll be longer. Any way of getting city officials to help contact Senator's office? I've seen it help expedite process.

That would have been awesome, but unfortunately no. No one said anything, but I did see a couple smiles.

Not quite the same. But reminds me of the time I was giving a lecture and a guy stood up and said I should read a specific paper to gain understanding of the topic before I give a talk on it. I was first author on the paper he referenced. Was annoyed, but felt good saying I wrote that paper!

I saw doctors using this, and there were lots of false negatives. Some skip colonoscopies and mammograms thinking the MCED test detected no cancer.
I think these tests are promising, but more studies are needed and patients need to know these tests aren't a replacement test for all screening.
