If you (and your comms team) pay any attention to polling, check out the ratio your proposal is getting.

Why are you euphemizing Trump's announced plans?

He did not limit his promise to _renovation_.

He explicitly said *"Complete Rebuilding"* and that he plans to *"begin Construction of the new and spectacular Entertainment Complex."*

What does that mean?

“Reined in”? “Overhauled”?

Your idea of DHS reforms is a joke, and it’s not even an original one.

Counterpoint, from @gregsargent.bsky.social. Maybe @tylerpager.bsky.social could read up on this. Or check out the on-the-scene videos from the Twin Cities circulating on this site that belie any such "course change".

This very preliminary review suggests, conservatively, that there could be over 3,000 errors. What happens if that corrupted data gets fed back into the model? More errors (or "hallucinations", colloquially). So what are the safeguards?

The Onion could simply rerun its 2003 material with a few changes to names and proper nouns.

Never let it be said that Susie Wiles doesn't know her business. The Gray Lady's Peter Baker adopts her framing of Trump's mental instability for his lede, and his analysis never recovers. Trump isn't "larger than life"—he's small, petty man whose media presence is boosted by chumps and cynics.

Oh, that zany Alan Moore! What a wonderful imagination that comic book writer has!

Trump's instinctively tapping into the conservative brain's heightened sensitivity to revulsion, using the language of the NYPost and filtered video.

And is it coincidence that the reflecting pool vista is associated with MLK's "I have a dream" speech?

The original link that Kyle Cheney posted is no longer available. While a post can be edited after the fact on Mastodon, the original link will still work (and will show the difference between versions if clicked through). The new post is a different URL.

Democrats need to propose honoring Charlie Kirk’s final wishes by releasing the uncensored Epstein files.

“Let the American people decide,” he said.

How can you (and The Atlantic) bridge fundamental disagreements over democracy and decency?

"I have a very, very radical view on this, but I can defend it, and I've thought about it. We made a huge mistake when we passed the Civil Rights Act in the 1960s." (12/23)

Hi, Senator Schumer (and comms team)!

I'd just like to point out that this post below has racked up almost as many likes in less than half the time as the above—and it's from my newsfeed backup account with .01% as many followers and a goofy name.

Your interview with Chris Hayes was a disaster, as you can see from your post's ratio.

But look on the bright side, Donald Trump got up first thing this morning to applaud your masterful political gambit.
