Very little need to “control” the BP in the hospital (when asymptomatic HTN without acute end organ dysfunction) especially with intermittent short-acting meds. Very few actual indications for clonidine, in or outpatient.

Clonidine PRN that they want to take in the hospital is my special favorite along with IV PRN hydralazine

I have read a bunch this year. Top picks so far: “House by the Cerulean Sea” by TJ Klune, “Old Man’s War” series by John Scalzi, everything by Carl Hiaasen but “Squeeze” was particularly funny and “Bad Monkey” was just made into a streaming show.
