Hey, unlike my friends in the Order, I don’t have a beef with your House, nor do I see us getting to a scrap.

But for all your bluster and supposed superiority you do hide a lot.

I mean I am just a squishy human behind my Avatar. You are supposed to be the childer of the biblical Caine…

The Techncracy has access to all the agathic and enhancement magick…enlightened science and whatever endowments they get from their Nephandic masters.

They don’t need your weak-sauce “vitae”…

//I love that 1e started with “mages pretending to do science” and “mages who don’t do vulgar magick”, to “mages who don’t really know they are doing magick until higher levels of Enlightenment” in Revised and M20

Let them have their fun. They are very quaint with their “we do magic too!”

It would be hilarious for you to drop off a package in their super-secret Haven with detailed surveillance of their recent activities.

It wasn’t when you did that shit to me, mind you, but this time is different

If only the Hermetics could learn from your example…

You hit a nerve. And they call them Procedures not spells…

And while some of us can be elsewhere on a whim, you guys are more limited, so don’t piss off the blackhats too much.

Their drones are exceedingly more accurate and lethal than the Second Inquisition and you’ll never see them coming.

//I’ve been reading the old Mage books again, it’s fascinating watching the progression of the Technos from clear villains in early 1e to the anti-villains (that are aspiring to be anti-heroes) in M20. The shift happened early, like NWO 1e but took a full 4 editions to reach its fruition.

I was going to say something about the Second Inquisition but it’s probably too soon #chantrygoboom

Whatever one thought about the movie…it’s just a movie.

I love Star Wars, but TLJ was just a cog in an entire franchise. The franchise moves on and whatever “harm” TLJ did will be overwritten and mitigated by the myriad of projects that follow.

I still believe that a healthy hobby needs system diversity, so my heart sank a bit at this news.

At least in this case it is an additive rather than a replacement.

You know it was a paradox flaw. I shudder to think what kind of Time Mind rote was botched to create minute shifts in reality (or perhaps the perception of such) but it’s clearly no rumour. Next you’ll be telling us Vampires are a myth…

I am very impressed by the layout so far. Cannot wait to see the final product

I am sure gobbling up all that tainted Syndicate lucre must be very hazardous
November 20, 2025 at 8:41 PM
News flash. You haven’t won anything.

In 1999 we both lost the First Ascension War, and this second round you’ve made a great spectacle of it but have little to show.

There are more Flat Earthers, Moon Landing Deniers, and Medical skeptics than ever before.

…and the Traditions are still here…
November 20, 2025 at 7:32 PM
That’s a comforting lie, I suppose.

More like you want us all to disappear before you arrive. It’s better to say “damn they got away” than “damn, we got our ass kicked”
November 20, 2025 at 7:18 PM
It’s nice that you have all these stock outfits to let us know you are coming…
November 20, 2025 at 6:18 PM
I would have to agree with you. With the plethora of PtbA and FitD games right now, kinda skews the perception, but I think you are right about FATE (and maybe even Fudge before that)
