Perhaps worth noting that the tv show, "The Apprentice," was added to Prime Video earlier this week.

Look, all I'm saying is that many of the Connections questions are like what you get when you ask a child to come up with a riddle.

Speaker Johnson's claim that Musk has "cracked the code" of government spending and that Musk personally assured him that everything is working smoothly while Johnson himself clearly has no idea how any of this works, reminds me of this scene for some reason: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylJf...

Here's a wild rabbit hole: Google "faked" the creative process depicted in their AI Super Bowl ad, then deleted the problematic statistic it contained, while doubling-down on claims that the ad was authentic. All in an effort, apparently, to convince us that this will make our lives better.

I just read a thing where the author used "loathing" as a verb, and I've simultaneously never felt so offended, outraged, and old.

I don't know why it bothers me, but it does: the blue line in Connections today was just the four words in the answer. Not even a hint of a game, there. What's the connection? That the name of the thing is the thing's name? That is some lazy AI, and poor stewardship.

"Constellation Energy, which inked a deal with Microsoft to restart the Three Mile Island nuclear plant to power artificial intelligence servers, sank 16%."

That sentence is the most history-laden sentence I've come across in some time. Think of everything it brings together.

I need a new horoscope site, because horoscope.com feels like a budget AI is generating their content, and someone forgot to tell it that horoscopes are meant to be readable and fun, not just word salad. Or maybe that's just the Taurus in me showing.

I spent today stitching together rhetorics from "Sully" Sullenberger, Justice Sotomayor, Alan Moore's "Watchmen," "The Boondocks Saints," and Loudon Wainwright, among others. I promise it will all make sense. Eventually. Not today, obviously, but soon. ish.
