Was told to his face that as far as Pete Rozelle was concerned, Donald J. Trump would NEVER own an NFL franchise as long as he had anything to do with it. Trump tried to backdoor his way in via the USFL & killed that league by his actions. The other owners were stupid to listen to Don the Con.

Yep. Teams do their due diligence, at least the good ones do, and every team said "Nope". The kid has nobody to blame but himself from what I've read. Hit 'Tude cost him millions of $, as teams aren't willing to bet on a self-absorbed, princess to guide their teams to wins and the big prize.
