A lot of us in the U.S. smell like sadness, despair, and anger. (I'm rolling in beef jerky each morning to prevent my dog from being sad and worried.)

Sounds like a cat. Porter the dog did not want the cat, but now Pogo follows him around everywhere. 😁 (p.s. Porter would still trade her for some bacon). Pogo wants to trade me (human) for some tuna.
