David. Lee. Roth. I told Kimberly to have low expectations and prep to be disappointed. The beauty-he doesn’t take himself too seriously, so it’s a beautiful melding of memories and a comedy show. I also know it’s likely the last time I see one of my icons of my youth. Cool night, as a whole.

Normally by this time on day 1, I’d already have visited several buildings, working to get to each one by the end of the day. This year, a little coffee and headed to the dentist. An appropriate shirt for the 1st day this year. Have a great 1st day and a great year, friends!

I’ve always said Herbert’s eyes have doubt in them. I know it’s a weird thing- my wife can verify I’ve said it for years. Tremendous talent, great arm, but something just seems like there is doubt that separates good from great. The last 2 drives have exposed that doubt a bit….

These two teams just keep shooting themselves in the foot. Texans and Chargers are not likely scaring anyone with these performances, and I know any given day- but wow, this is more like a Thursday night game in week 7.
