Made a fusion Mexican baklava as an experiment! Half is dulce de leche cinnamon, half is strawberry basil honey. Used almonds instead of pistachios (the latter isn’t commonly used in Mexican cooking), but should’ve used cashews for softness. Came out delicious though!

Mom and I did some Christmas baking, and when dad got home, we all went out to dinner! It was so lovely. ☺️ Then we stopped at TJ Maxx - the rents’ favorite store - and I found a coat to wear while delivering that’ll be easier to take on and off as I bounce in and out of the kitchen, lol!
