The latest consignment of my paintings arriving at their new home in Essex, all the way from the north of Scotland. I reckon he now has 93. Should make it a round hundred, surely? Maybe he's waiting for me to die, then be famous!!

I wrote an article back in 1971, published in 'The Lady' (of all places) about the plight of the badger, and one concern THEN was badger hair being used in paint brushes (for glass) and shaving brushes.

AS a matter of fact, the badger 'cull' did not start in 2013 but in 1976 (cf. my book 'The Fate of the Badger', Batsford 1986), therefore it has not been running for 13 years but for nearly 50 years!
