Dogged conviction that our species has a huge capability for reason and social cooperation that can overcome the current dominance of oligarchy
Nothing is perfect, but objective assessments are better than a series of pundits delivering their opinions on the matter in hand

Well, the stats of who gets given a platform are robust numbers. There is a judgment to be made about their place on the lady-right spectrum, but that can be done with some certainty.

Interruption Rates are a matter of counting who gets to talk and how long. You get a fairly robust numbers.

The argument about BBC bias or lack of it will continue ad nauseam while they try to tackle it by gathering the opinions of pundits.

The matter can only be settled by objective evidence.

Give us stats of interviewees from right or left, and give us Interruptions Rate studies

Yes. Refugees are human beings. Many in desperate trouble through no fault of their own.
The responsibility for the plight of people who are forced to leave their homes, is rarely mentioned, let alone addressed.
Issues with falling birth rate + damage of Brexit, are also very often brushed aside.

Any solution to today’s migration issues must look at the “push factors”, the global causes of migration: war, authoritarian regimes, poverty and climate change.

There are things that Governments could do to start to fix those huge threats, but unfortunately they seem to be seen as irrelevant

It’s so sad. Maybe politicians are given £10,000 every time they denigrate tree huggers - a term originating with the Bishnois, who perished in the Khejarli massacre while protecting trees

There is a rejection of conventional Tory/Labour politics underlying the polls. Reform has benefited from this, but now Green profile has grown, we may see Reform shrink despite their massive backing from corporate media

Climate science creates a coherent explanation for Earth’s rapidly rising temperatures, motivated by desire for scientific knowledge.

Anti-NetZero campaigners don’t offer coherent scientific explanation of rising temperatures, they just have a large store of talking points 6/6
