Just remembered the time we were going through our newly purchased home and found a trove of Goldwater stuff glued to a board in an eave and it felt like maybe this place was infested with and/or haunted by Republicans and we would have to move

Watched the early Cronenberg movie Fast Company the other day day which is still the ONLY movie that captures how I feel about losing funny car points to a fueler pilot.

And when I say it's awesome, I don't mean I recommend it to anyone but the most Miami Vice loving souls out there. One representative moment is a part where Don Jon is in some 2001-esque old age makeup in some holodeck type setting. It's something else!!!!

Watched Don Johnson's Heartbeat, a one-of-a-kind hour-long, silent film/music video thing he released alongside an album in 1987. Despite being limited by its mainstream music video intentions, it was awesome! It was aiming to be something unique and I'm just a sucker for "silent movie" projects.
