1930s guide to the ceiling mural at Grand Central Terminal. Difficult to photograph as the gold ink for the constellations reflects the light. But it’s very cool. One of the only depictions of the mural without the distorting curve of the ceiling.

Back on my bullshit 😄 - getting all the cabinet doors and drawer fronts painted for the kitchen reno at the Space House. Benjamin Moore Advance paint. It’s great stuff but requires 16 hours and sanding between each coat. 30 days to fully cure.

Corner curves for the kitchen. Trying to avoid right angles whenever possible in the space house renovation so I made these corner pieces with toekicks for where the cabinets connect. Very pleased with how they’ve turned out.

Restored the beams and painted the kitchen ceiling. Used some Grand Central Terminal blue/green. New drywall walls going up now.

First hummingbird of the season (day 2) on a rainy day. This is the most chill and patient hummingbird I’ve ever seen. He just comes in for landing and takes his time.

I’m curious to find out if either of these are any good. I’m not a vegetarian, though I used to be one and still often eat vegetarian. Been looking for an alternative to traditional chicken noodle soup.
