Penguins experience a "catastrophic molt" once every year. Other birds molt a little at a time, but penguins do it all at once. They cannot swim or fish during that time so that have to fatten up before. I'm pre-molt.

Y’all! Join my partner, TJ, and I this summer for a BIPOC hi-lo writing group. We’ll spend some time talking and some time writing each time. Even if you don’t think of yourself as a writer (yet!), you might be exactly the addition we need to make this project great.
