I was saying this same thing to my wife last night. In a functioning society, this entire party would be burned to the ground and thrown into the trash bin of history for THREE times elevating a pedophile and covering it up. Unfortunately, our society is broken

SERIOUSLY! God damn these weak mother fuckers
November 10, 2025 at 10:19 PM
Your literal job is to hold your caucus together. If I was as bad at my job as you are at yours, I’d be in prison. Retire you weak mother fucker

You need to fucking retire. You aren’t up for this moment

Called both offices this afternoon. Would encourage everyone to do the same.

Well you should give a shit about the history because understanding that history is understanding how we go back to a more pension based retirement system. I for one would like to live in a much less capitalist society. Pension based retirement was also the reality……until it wasn’t.

Getting people to disengage from political discourse because they have “no business” in doing so. Seems antithetical to the solidarity and working class coalition politics. Actually just seems like pure elitism.

Fair enough
November 7, 2025 at 4:44 PM
Fine. It wasn’t the word “stupid”. It was an unnecessary jab that didn’t need to be used to make their point. Is that better?
November 7, 2025 at 4:41 PM
Thanks for the advice. I’ll follow your lead on that
November 7, 2025 at 4:35 PM
No that part isn’t complicated. Absolutely do that part. 401ks were created in the late 70s and really became implemented by Reagan in the 80s. Before that pensions were a thing. Listened to a Majority Report interview a while back with a historian on pensions. Wish I could remember the name.

Or it’s people painting policy in broad strokes in a medium of 300 characters or less?
November 7, 2025 at 4:27 PM
And there can’t be additional legislative protections to address that?
November 7, 2025 at 4:23 PM
Call it whatever you want, it was an asshole thing to say and unproductive to the conversation
November 7, 2025 at 4:14 PM
Yes to all of that. Hence the pension part. Now, how about we refrain from calling people stupid when they share their ideas.
November 7, 2025 at 4:11 PM
Been telling anyone that would listen exactly this for years. Jack up salaries, have a ROBUST pension, and do not allow public servants (and their families) to participate in the stock market or operate private businesses, as they are the ones writing the rules
