Kermit hoping to be Miss July to celebrate her 10th birthday.

Saw this on another platform. Says it all.

An American Eagle flight from Wichita to DCA carrying about 60 people collided with a helicopter while trying to land. So far unable to find the wreckage of the plane in the river, but have found four survivors so far.

And this is where we are.

Someone tell this dog she’s almost 11 and does not need to run 1.5 miles in 7 inches of snow!

Kermit home after TPLO surgery yesterday for her torn right cruciate. Will be 11 long weeks before she’s free to run & jump, but she’ll get there. I know because she had the left one done about 2 years ago. Fun fact for the non vet types: dogs who tear a CCL have a 70% chance of tearing the other.

Meet Kevin and Kermit the Dog!

This is 9 yr old Kermit the Dog. She has atopic dermatitis, partial seizures, and has had surgery for a torn cruciate. She is also still very athletic and ecstatic to go on walks, and just wants to be near her people at all times.

Someone reminded me to make sure to find my zen place. I can’t get to the deep woods easily from where I live, but I can create a place here with some George Winston playing in the background. We will all need to find a way to recharge going forward. I encourage everyone to find some way to relax.
