the second the game gets fully revealed and its single life bar happy birthdays dont matter corner combos are fake because of wallbreaks and strings are 10 hits long and then they drop everyone is gonna act like its the end of the world

The promise of the KDH trailer is that the characters will pull silly faces and have snarky one-liners for every situation but based on the initial production materials i saw in 2021 for this movie and reading between the lines i think its gonna be a straightforwardly cool action movie

The initial marketing of Puss in Boots the Last Wish was an unbroken unedited clip of the entire first action sequence, and everyones response was "wow this is awesome i cant wait to see more cool action sequences like this" which the movie delivered on

Theres like 4-6 bespoke action sequences we see like one second of in between extended comedy beats that are edited in a way that makes it feel like the editors are embarrassed of the material.
Im pretty confident theres no way the movie actually carries the tone of the trailer at all.
