2 weeks since I returned from Bankers Alley Hotel, the @hiltonhotels.bsky.social property in Nashville.

They charged 4 days of valet parking even though we had a rental car 1 night.

They won't return calls, won't reverse the charges. Protested on my CC - maybe that will get them moving.

Spring has arrived on the Edge of America. Smoked these beef ribs for about six hours before wrapping and resting in my new Drip EZ warming bag.

Dinner is going to be great!

Wait. Tiger is Black now? He's always been Asian and now all of the sudden he's Black?

Hey @espn.com - WTF was that?

Look, if the President wants to congratulate the teams, fine. But for you to air that self congratulatory pile of garbage-speak is beyond the pale.

I'm changing channels.

Just canceled my @washingtonpost.com subscription. I appreciate the news division and love the columnists, especially @danamilbank.bsky.social, Ruth Marcus and Alexandra Petri.

I just can't support a "news" organization that would censor @anntelnaes.bsky.social.

Saw this headline and thought "Why not? Sha Na Na wouldn't be the worst nominee for a position in the upcoming cabinet."

I live on the Edge of America now, but memories of Whataburger still linger in my mind.

I'd save my lunch money to get a strawberry shake for the walk home from school!

There might be better burgers out there, but they don't come with a side of memories!

What happened to Whataburger?
The most iconic fast food chain in Texas is going national under corporate ownership. And disappointing some loyal fans along the way.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. This year was special as family visited.

@mrsocho.bsky.social did the heavy lifting with elote, funeral potatoes, mashed potatoes, green bean salad, and Aunt Stella's pink salad.

I was in charge of brisket and negronis. She likes to keep it simple!

Student leaders cut the ribbon on our new student health center. The new facility provides amazing clinical space, a food pantry, and a clothes closet.

Allan Hancock College is laser focused on creating generational change in our community. That's why we won't give up the fight for baccalaureate degrees in our region!
