I think it's a good reminder of how people who see the world through different lenses (e.g., advocates &. medical doctors) can choose to focus on shared values (i.e., keeping our community well-informed and safe) over creating antagonistic dichotomies.

Daniel Kahneman, the only psychologists to receive the Nobel Prize (for economics interestingly enough), cited the "Focusing Illusion" as one of the most important scientific concepts. Read his essay and then put that in your pipe and smoke it. 😝
