I remembered Dinorella ever since I first heard it during story time. Specifically, when the Duke Dino gets dragged out of his car and gets GNOSHED ON?

It scared me, but also every free time I'd get up to read it again 😭

I was partially inspired by a photo of this... gourmet aspic.

I was so charmed by the idea of a school of fish suspended in gelatin. But I felt like, instead of being charmed, Birk would just disintegrate on the spot 😭

Knell looks down at the fainted assailant with mild concern, clutching a fistful of hair in his hand. An arrow indicates that it’s Knell’s own hair. A small tuft of short hair sticks up from the side of his face, indicating where it’d been cut. Normally Knell has the intimidation factor of a wet paper bag, but sometimes the bad reputation of flesh mages comes in handy

Happy Halloween everyone!
Ending off this month with the same way I started: Drawing fan art of #TraitorandtheWretch!

One of the scenes that I keep coming back to where these two finally get a moment to just see each other, in more ways than one.
Knell and Percy sit in a hot spring surrounded by stalactites/stalagmites. Knell is an emaciated man covered in scars, with an especially large one on his chest. He sits hunched over, knuckle tapping against his head. His other hand grips his knee, sharp nails digging into his skin, hard enough to draw blood. He says with a frantic grin, “It’s a bit muddled up there.” Percy sits a ways away, with concerned expression, eyes focusing on where Knell is gripping his knee. In the water lights them up from below through tiny luminescent fish swimming in swirling schools.

There’s something so fun about the idea of characters meeting themselves at different parts of their journey.

One of the few times I’ve attempted a comic sequence, haha.
