HOWEVER. Yes, the first seasons of SVU are terribly transphobic. Over time, the dialect changes and they start to reflect a more radical, accepting view. It is fascinating how the creators have pushed the show's dynamics in a revolutionary direction. I will die on this hill.

I do also watch relatively trash TV and won't be sorry. Law & Order SVU? Watched it through twice so far. All those Harlan Coben Netflix series? Yum yum. Gimme those stereotypical white lady crime dramas.
