It was in the grade 9 or 10 curriculum when this old fart was in high school. I'd seen the movie when I was 10, but when I was in HS I was devouring every bit of RB I could find, so was thrilled when I found out we'd be doing a report on it, and believe me I was no keener in school.

Made a batch of lentil/veg soup the other day and froze a bunch, so that's for dinner here tonight. I went out with my boot spikes on to wander to the park, but baby steps on the ice was buggering my spine, then the wind off the river hit me like a hammer. Back inside. Telly time.

Oh yes, she agreed to re-pay a majority of it when I left, but not six months later stopped all payments. So, that's when I took it to court. So, If this is too hard to understand just please stop responding.

Legally it was a dumb move but I loved her, and we always treated everything as 'ours.' Ethically it was thievery. She also lied for three years while land was being cleared about my workshop which was supposed to be being built, then finally said 'we didn't have the money any longer.'

Everything was in her name, including our business and personal banking, so I told my father to just put it in her name, and she always agreed it was my money, until one day something or someone changed her mind. Stupid? Maybe, but I was with her for 28 years and trusted her implicitly.
