Maybe the ‘democratisation‘ folks had a point: while there’s no widespread interesting use of the tech in capital-A art circles, it’s _everywhere_ in poster ads, craftsmen logos, party invites, flyers, etc. So it really shapes up to be an art-of-the-people, in a very bland and uninteresting sense…

imho p5.js makes for a much more reasonable entry point: basically the same easy-to-learn syntax, results can be directly exported to the web, nothing to install thanks to editor.p5js.org
