I have been laid off from my job at Polygon (while traveling no less). Ill have more to say next week when I’m home and had some time to process but one thing I know is true: Polygon has/had the most incredible crew of talented, thoughtful, creative people and I’ll always cherish working with them

Before and after: some visible mends on sock heels, just finished these this evening 🪡 should work on my tension

posting as proof of life, nothing to say but here’s some mending I did last year. the archaeology of an item of clothing.
A cropped photograph of a navy knitted jumper. The cuff of one sleeve and a portion of the bottom of the jumper are visible. The knit is textured, and features darned patches in yellows, oranges and pinks. The bottom edge and sleeve cuff have also been mended in these contrast colours. There are other, older mended areas done in blues and blacks.
