Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth-the dignity, the rights of man: that state is obsolete.
It looks so much like Al Hirschfeld that before I even read your text I started looking for NINAs.

Strawberry is my go-to as well. Lots of people who want to go wild on customization like Taurus, but I don’t need to go that hard. I do miss the winamp visualizers, though.

When they rolled these in for driver's training we used to try to see how many of the dummy lights we could get to go on. Putting it in drive, getting the speedometer to 100, then slamming it in reverse seemed to get the most to go off.

Oh, they really decided to name it Rainman. Huh. That didn't age well. Or at all I guess since the internet barely seems to remember it...

It's weird that it called out taking your kid to school. "Perkins also enjoyed other activities, such as waking up in the morning, eating human food, and using his feet to transport himself to different places."

Emily Wilson’s translations of the Iliad and the Odyssey are hands-down the best i’ve read. They are modern and beautiful and respectful of both the stories and the people who populate them. I really hope she takes a crack at the Aeneid at some point.

I just moved into a house that was built in 1913. When I first got in I played some songs from 1913 to let the house know I was a cool person. One of them was “Mary Pickford, The Darling of Them All. “

Spot on. Getting a call from friends across the country used to be a huge deal that you’d make time for. Now I video chat, text, or send videos to them constantly. Phone calls aren’t very efficient at this point.

Worth it for Vampire Survivors alone. That game is wonderfully addictive.

That’s a great question, I sweated over which one to go with for quite a while and chose Edith Grossman’s translation. I was really happy with it!

Even if AI stops buying all of them, they want to keep the price high so you use the nvidia now subscription service. The goal is that you can’t afford to build a good pc so you’re locked into the subscription.

I did the individual downloads- it’s been a few months since I last played around with it, but if I remember right you link heroic to your gog account and it becomes it’s own launcher, so it handles the installation the same way galaxy would.

You might have some luck with the Heroic game launcher, I've used it for some of the GOG and Epic store games on Mint and while it hasn't been 100% perfect, it's been pretty good. It uses both Wine and Proton to run.

I appreciate that you let me know! Their covers are pretty good in themselves, but it really makes me happy that an imprint of the ABA is doing it. I’m glad someone is keeping them in print, they’re the third best-selling series ever and nobody seems to remember them.
