There is also `osgeo.osr.OAMS_AUTHORITY_COMPLIANT` which means that traditional GIS is not authority compliant. Rebels!

I love the fact that it's called "TRADITIONAL GIS ORDER" which also makes it twice as confusing. Which one is traditional?

I have two daughters, and have become proficient at braiding, pigtails, buns, and parted ponytails (with bangs). Have not been able to crack a French braid just yet tho!

I learned this from the Fine Homebuilding deck guide, which was a super useful resource

The advantage is that you don't have to rely on the shear strength of the bolt which weakens over time. You can sort of see how I notched my posts and bolted them here - the weight is still directly on the post and the bolts add some rotational strength

I'm not sure I'm reading it the right way, but are going to mechanically transfer the weight from the joists to the beams (ie, with bolts) or place the joist on top of the beam (and connect with ties or notch the posts)? I tend to think the latter is preferable

So instead you get more reliance on lyrical allegory, etc

If you are looking for more Greek poets, I also loved Cavafy (see Walls and Ithaki), Solomos (who wrote the national anthem, which is pretty poetic itself), and Kavvadias (who i really like - lots of his work was put to song like Fata Morgana faliriotissa-tailsofathens.blogspot.com/2011/04/fata...)
Fata Morgana
A Fata Morgana of the sea line. One of my all time favorite Greek poets, Nicos Kavadias, titled the poem "Fata Morgana". I adored it si...

I'm actually excited that you know about Seferis. I really enjoyed studying literature alongside the language, you realize how much the shape and form of the language informs the art - in languages like Greek, conjugation/article makes rhyming simple. You don't get syncopated wordplay like english

When I studied Modern Greek literature in undergrad, my final project was translating part of Mythistorema (Argonauts) into English. Poetic translation is really something, you see how much weight is on the translator to really understand the work from a whole set of angles
