TIL uninitialized memory is not only "junk" but volatile. E.g. if we malloc() a page we may get a zero-mapped address, so a (ub) read anywhere is zero, but if we write to a different addr in the page we may get remapped to a page of junk, so reads to those original unwritten addrs can change.
