I think you are missing the point. The Alberta government is taking 100% away and makes the AISH recipient pay several hundred dollars in doctor fees for the application. The DTC is also not a permanent credit for many, and some will have to reapply regularly, paying the doctor's fee each time.

The CBD is considered non-exempt income, the same as CPP-D, which is clawed back dollar for dollar. There are different categories of income that are treated differently.

Interesting concept. I'm curious: How does adding PV panels affect the building's insulation performance? Could they potentially improve thermal efficiency? Also, could similar design approaches be applied to solar farms near wetlands or migratory pathways to help mitigate risks to birds?

I went back today. I saw it carrying nest material into a tree and the mate is leucistic as well, but only minimally. Two odd birds found each another! Should this be posted in eBird or iNaturalist? DM me if you want more info.

When I wear bright colors, hummingbirds (like a calliope I saw recently) seem more curious—one hovered near me, maybe agitated. Could it have seen me as food, or was it a territorial thing? Can my presence meaningfully affect their behavior?

Yes! Last year I saw him/her all around the university. However it seems to be nesting closer to my neighborhood this spring. I have been trying to get a decent shoot of it for some time and will ramp up my efforts.

Paywall, so I can't read it. But what about the people on AISH in Alberta who spent money to get the DTC, and now 100% of the CDB is being clawed back? What avenues do they have to be heard by the federal government?
