The fact that there were about 10k in the stadium at the end was embarrassing. Would much prefer folk stayed until the end and supported the team than wave a few flags. Another reason why I don’t think we need a bigger stadium

McClaren the worst in my lifetime I would say. That team should have been nowhere near the bottom of the league! A year later and our 2 midfield players were playing in the Champions League final ffs

How on earth do you think you know my age (you’re wrong on that as well by the way…) I’ll leave it now with this - not necessarily saying this is you, but the amount of ex st holders who claim circumstances meant they could no longer go, who are now desperate to go back, is incredible like.

I wouldn’t think anyone would apply for a particular game if they knew they couldn’t go, no. Be interested to hear if any examples of this.

I absolutely do understand there are many new people wanting to go to games now we are doing well. It’s called fair weather support. That will include some new fans but at least 10k who used to go before Bruce arrived and now complaining they cannot get a ticket. If you don’t believe that I give up

I think they apply for all games, knowing they won’t be selected for every game and selected for a handful of games per season.

To be fair, I stopped taking you seriously when you suggested people applied for tickets through the ballot that they had no intention of going too. Absolute rubbish. I’ll say it again, folk could have had one for nothing a few years back but just didn’t fancy it as we weren’t winning every week

What on earth are you talking about?! I’ve seen loads on Twitter demanding the club have at least a 75k capacity stadium because they cannot get a ticket now. My view is that would be a huge risk and could end up being a white elephant. Do you understand that?

Because I genuinely don’t think we have a large proportion of ‘visitors’ from outside of the region attending games every week. We have a core support of 30k-40k and the rest come and go depending on how the team is doing. That’s why I believe talk of a 75k stadium is dangerous in the longer term
