Maybe it was just a ploy to convince Mexico to pay for a wall.

To be fair, they never expected this guy to have to testify! The mean ol' judge sandbagged them by refusing to accept a declaration on blind faith.

Introducing New Coke was a "huge error in judgment." This was obstruction of justice.

One thing the previous poster didn't mention was that DHS lied to the court several times (in different ways) about the circumstances of the spoliation of this evidence.

Yes, but you also forgot to consider the “But what if the first indictment never actually happened at all and they just pretended it did?” scenario.

Judge (don’t promote him!) Smith rants that the experts are all paid by Soros (without explaining the legal significance of that), but then _also_ rants that Judge Brown didn’t rely on those experts!)

Would it be quaint to note that the phrase "congressional declaration of war" — or even the bare word "congress" — does not appear anywhere in the piece?

Even that isn't that dumb; the person elected in the regular November election doesn't take office until the beginning of January, so w/o the October election that would still be up to three fewer months when the district is entirely unrepresented.

After seeing this, I voted for you. But I am a NJ resident, so it might not help too much.

It seems to me that @robynelyse.bsky.social is denying a strong claim—no clerk had the authority to say, "Oh, I can't spell X, so your name is now Y"—while ignoring the dynamic of a confused immigrant being told that s/he was admitted under the name Y, and thinking s/he had to use that.

If it's not intentional, then it's by definition _not_ genocide.

Turns out Twitter _isn't_ the only place.

If the details of whether it actually meets the definition of the word don't matter, then why use the word at all?

But that does not in fact seem pretty clear, because if Israel was doing its damndest to wipe out the Palestinian population, then the Palestinian population would've been wiped out.

I agree with the point you're trying to make, but disagree with the framing. Doing it after there's no personal risk to oneself from doing it is literally the opposite of a spine.

It's like praising someone's battlefield bravery for visiting Gettysburg now.

Oh, no! Who will we call if there's an oil spill?

As opposed to what? What should "today's political mainstream media" do about it? If they yell "Trump is an unhinged lunatic fascist!" for the one zillionth time, would that change things?
July 21, 2025 at 7:06 PM
You think more highly of the Police Academy films than I do.

I'm not a doctor, but I think you meant _further_ into a delirium.

Um, not those tiny hands.

Doesn't this omit the AARP/WMM case, which Trump lost on an emergency application in which he was the respondent?
