Honestly, if authors are asking you for tight turnarounds and then being weird about it if you can't get the review out by publication date every time, that's a them problem! You take care of yourself first and foremost ❤️

/ I've been informed that this is not actually the general consensus 🫠 It holds true for my circle of mostly disabled authors, though, so I suspect disabled and ND authors are going to be a lot more considerate in this way...

I sent out my ARCs pretty late, but there's never any expectation that people read them by the publication date. I don't think most indies care that reviews are out on pub date. We just want you to have fun reading.
