The light was not pretty today in the Skagit flats of WA state, but I was out for a while. Here are two photos of Red-Tailed Hawks. In the left photo, there is a mouse in the hawk's left talon. On the right, the hawk was standing on one leg on a post a long way out (1200mm focal length).

I finished an acrylic print, 22"x40" yesterday. A long process, but the results are worth it. The optical properties of the 1/4" acrylic make the print have a 3-dimensional quality and a nice contrast, and the presentation, without any visible frame around the image is great. frame on back of print
